Iceland, also called the Island of Fire and Ice, is one of the most magical places on Earth, where you can discover lava fields, gigantic glaciers, monumental waterfalls, snowy peaks, black sand beaches, austere deserts, green mosses, nature reserves and a variety of geothermal shows on the same trip! In this 10-day hiking adventure we will limit ourselves to the South of the island, where we will walk through the most fascinating places and were left astonished when we went to explore it.
An island of extremes and contrasts, Iceland will delight any hiker in love with nature. Notable sites include the Strokkur geyser (the most active in Iceland), Vatnajökull (the largest glacier in Europe) and its iceberg lagoon, Jökulsarlón. Or Landmannalaugar, where the most famous trekking on the island begins, and with its characteristic colors of rhyolite and fumaroles, you will be impressed.
In September there is the chance to see the Aurora Borealis !!!!!
